So I decided to make a life list. Here it is. The items linked or marked off have been completed (yay me!).

  1. Run a 5k.
  2. Visit Europe again / take David to England
  3. Finish my dissertation/PhD
  4. Visit Key West
  5. Read every Pulitzer Prize for fiction award winner (began in 1948)

  42. Lay flowers on my Grandmother Colvin’s grave.
  43. Play Monopoly by candlelight with my husband and children during a power outage.
  44. Tell Ms. Dick (my 4th grade teacher) in person that she changed my life for the better.
  45. Teach Molly how to swing.

  47. Build a bookshelf and then actually use it.
  48. Take Molly to a show on Broadway (or London’s West End).

  52. Knit a sweater and give it as a gift.
  53. Find and learn how to make a salad that David will love to eat.
  54. Make a quilt with my mother-in-law.
  55. Learn how to change a tire.
  56. Eat Sushi in Japan.
  57. Spend my birthday in Paris.
  58. Go two weeks without wearing jeans (inspired by Liz).
